NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPY

NMT is a form of "clinical structural bodywork" based on the identification of muscular imbalances and postural distortions, an often-overlooked source of pain and cause of injury. Scoliosis, back pain, stiff neck, rotator cuff injuries, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome and even TMJ disorders are often linked to the imbalances of the muscular system. If left untreated, muscular imbalances can lead to joint inflammation, degenerative discs and arthritis. Our Health Care Practitioners use "Trigger Point Therapy" along with deep sustaining strokes to release muscle adhesions and loosen tight fascia (connective tissue) throughout the body. The goal is to restore homeostasis within the musculoskeletal and nervous system.
